絞り — 藍と朱

藍と朱。表と裏で、まったく違う顔を持つ一枚。

藍の絞りの布に、朱の絹を合わせました。朱の側には、麻の葉と亀甲の文様が織り出されています。紐は赤い麻の葉。畳んだときと広げたときで、見える色が入れ替わります。

About AKAFUN

あかふんは、布おむつのためのカバーです。着物や浴衣として使われていた布をほどき、赤ちゃんの体に合わせて仕立て直しています。ゴムは使わず、紐を結んで留めるかたち。締めつけず、成長に合わせて長く使えるようにつくられています。

Akafun is a cover for cloth diapers. Fabric that was once worn as a kimono or yukata is unstitched and remade to fit a baby — with no elastic, fastened by tying cords, so it holds without squeezing and keeps fitting as the child grows.

Size & use

• 目安：体重 約7〜12kg
• ゴム不使用。紐を結んで留めます
• 紐の結び方で身幅と股上を調整でき、成長に合わせて長く使えます
• 一点ごとに、寸法にわずかな個体差があります

• Fits approximately 7–12 kg
• No elastic — fastened by tying the cords
• Width and rise adjust with how the cords are tied, so it grows with the child
• Each piece varies slightly in its measurements

Care

• 中性洗剤で手洗い、または洗濯ネットに入れて弱水流で
• 漂白剤と乾燥機は避けてください
• 紐をほどき、形を整えて陰干し
• 古い布のため、はじめのうちは色落ち・色移りの可能性があります。最初の数回は単独で洗ってください

• Hand wash with a mild detergent, or machine wash on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag
• No bleach; do not tumble dry
• Untie the cords, reshape, and dry in the shade
• Reused textiles may release a little dye at first — wash separately the first few times
